One of the typical villages you must visit is Valldemossa.

Valldemossa is only 15-20 minutes away from Palma. Into the Tramontana mountains.
Serra de Tramontana was awarded World Heritage by UNESCO so its a really beautiful place where you will enjoy amazing views.

Once arrived to Valldemossa you can visit the Valldemossa Real Cartuja including the church cloisters and old pharmacy. Also de monastery where the composer Chopin and his lover, the french writer George Sand spent the winter of 1838/39. She wrote her experience in the book «a Winter in Mallorca» a bestseller that is on sale in almost every shop in Valldemossa, in a variety of languages.

Get lose into the Valldemossa’s enigmatic streets full of flowers, lined with shops boutiques and plenty of places to eat and drink.
You will notice that all the houses have a small ceramic plate at the main entrance with and image of «la Beata».
La Beata is the saint who protects the village.



Cocas de patata are typical from Valldemossa and the tradition is to eat it with hot chocolate.



Many people think that Mallorca is only a sun and beach destination. They think that when summer ends everything stops until next summer. Nothing further from reality!
